Brian Hsu

Taiwan/USA

Brian Hsu made his concerto debut at the age of 16 with the Philadelphia Orchestra. An award winner of multiple international competitions, Mr. Hsu has performed throughout the US, Europe, Asia, and South Africa. He is a frequent masterclass clinician and a sought-after adjudicator. His US debut solo recording, Night at the opera: Part I was released in 2018. He received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from The Juilliard School, Artist Diploma from Yale University, and Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Michigan. Mr. Hsu has served as piano faculty at the McAlester Institute in Oklahoma and the Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp in Michigan, as staff accompanist and chamber music coach at Eastern Music Festival, and staff pianist, faculty, and assistant to the director at the Amalfi Coast Music Festival. Dr. Hsu has served as a faculty member at Loyola University New Orleans, Siena Heights University and the Ann Arbor School for the Performing Arts, and he is currently Assistant Professor of Piano at the University of Oregon.

Charles Praytor

USA

Charles Praytor is currently a Professor of Piano and Music at Tyler Junior College, in Tyler, Texas. A native of Texas, Mr. Praytor holds a master’s degree in piano performance from The University of Texas at Arlington, where he studied under the direction of John Solomons. In addition to his work at Tyler Junior College, he is active as a pedagogue, clinician, and adjudicator across the Northeast Texas region. Passionate about all aspects and genres of music, Mr. Praytor is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, producer, and composer/arranger. Additionally, he is active in musical theatre, having provided musical and stage direction for dozens of productions over the past 10 years.

Adam Piotr Żukiewicz

Poland/USA

Adam Piotr Żukiewicz is an award-winning concert pianist and chamber musician. He has concertized across Europe, the USA, Canada, Japan, Brazil, Hong Kong, and Macau, and his performances were broadcast in the USA, Canada, Italy, Slovenia, Germany, and Poland. Mr. Żukiewicz holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Toronto, and Masters of Music degree from Indiana University, with additional studies at the Royal Academy of Music in London, UK. Dr. Żukiewicz is an Associate Professor of Piano at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, Colorado, with previous faculty positions at the University of Toronto and St Michael's Choir School in Toronto. He serves as a Resident Faculty Pianist at the International Music Festival of the Adriatic in Duino (Italy), and is a founder and Artistic Director of the Intercollegiate Piano Competition of the West. Mr. Zukiewicz is a founding member of the Max Joseph Piano Trio and the Colorado Piano Trio.
